Graphic Identity for Baltic Jazz Festival

I created this identity for a Jazz festival organized in archipelago of Turku in 2017. The original logo was created by another designer. The organizers wished a fresh summery feeling, that would still apply people from all age groups. It was the 30th time the event was organized so they also wanted the image to have something retro. I created a set of vector illustrations and hand lettering of the name of the event made in the the traditional american retro style. The colors and the general feeling is light and happy, just like the summery Baltic Jazz festival, where people come to Dalsbruk to the festival location by sailboats and have picnics under the sun while enjoying the music.
